Abstract It is evident that Web responses have a clear increasing rate during time: more recent studies show higher web response rate than preceding studies. An increasing number of Internet and e-mail users could make people more confident in answering surveys via Web. In another submitted paper (Romano and Himmelmann, 2003) we present data to assess time influence in Web mode responses.
